A press scrapped far more housings after a big dryer load

  1. A press molding housings from plastic that must be dried first scrapped far more than usual on the night shift. On press 11 it was four times its usual share.

  2. Many more housings scrapped than on a usual shift, all to be made again.

  3. We looked at the camera recording and the ERP scrap log.

  4. Top up dryers a little at a time on every press whose plastic needs drying.
