This week
Every active job is now checked for whether it may use reused plastic, and the first grinders are on order. They go to presses 9 and 10, whose customer allows it.
The jobs left were small and quick to check, so the grinder order followed in the same week.
We read the ERP material records for every active job. About half the plastic bought goes into jobs whose customers allow reused plastic, and presses 9 and 10 make steady scrap to reuse.
No scrap is reused yet, but every job is sorted and the first grinders are on order.
Since last week: The smaller jobs left last week are now checked, and the first grinders are ordered.
Keep each grinder with its own press once they arrive, so no other plastic mixes in.
