This week
The first grinders arrived and now run beside their presses, sending scrap straight back into the same job. It is mixed in by scoop, not yet by weight.
The grinders arrived on the vendor's new date and were running by the next day.
We watched the presses with the new grinders on camera and read their ERP material records. About 215 pounds of scrap went back into the same jobs in half a week of grinding.
Reuse has just started on the first presses, and the plant is still far short of the goal.
Since last week: Last week's issue, the late grinders, is resolved: both arrived and are now grinding scrap.
Keep both grinders running every shift, and install the weighing mixers when they arrive.
